Dreamscape Painting is less of an organization and more of a family, except with less bickering. Our employees, their backgrounds, skills, and personalities are our greatest resource.

As a family run business, our relationships with our team and our clients is very important to us. This is clearly shown by the length of time most of our staff has been with us and the long-term relationships we have with our customers/contractors.

We pride ourselves on providing services with an elevated level of quality, skill, and customer service. Our team believes in finding solutions, not problems, and we have the expertise and resources to address whatever unique situation may arise.

One of our company values is to never stop learning and, as such, we are constantly investing in our employees training by putting them through the Red Seal apprenticeship program and sending them to take specialized courses and training.

Our Story

Back in the day, Rene worked at a local mill. He enjoyed being outside, but eventually grew tired of the prevailing attitude of doing as little as possible before punching out for the day. Soon after, he started working for a friend who was a painting contractor, and after a few years, his friend encouraged him to start his own business. That is when Fine Line Painting was born.

For quite a few years, there was just Rene and one or two other employees. All three of Rene’s kids worked cleaning brushes and rollers, and eventually began working onsite. Throughout the years, Dustin continued working with the company, first in summers and in his off time, and has now been with the company full time for 15 or so years.

Where We Are Going

We love where we are at! Our niche of executing high-end, complex residential projects suits us just fine. Our team is constantly expanding their skills and expertise to be able to take on whatever comes our way. While we are a family run business, we no longer fly by the seat of our pants. We are constantly working on our internal processes and procedures to ensure that every client's project is completed on time, on budget, and at the highest quality.

Rene Zupancic

Owner and Founder

When I started painting on my own, years ago, I had no idea what it would or could look like. It began as a way to support my young family and has turned into a passion to not only provide fine finishes and a great experience for our clients, but more importantly, it’s become an opportunity for other hardworking, ambitious people to support their families.

With my son, Dustin, taking over the day to day, I’m more excited than ever to see how Dreamscape Painting Ltd. will continue to grow and provide exciting opportunities for our now extended family.
