These are the three main reasons we paint our homes. Not only is the exterior the first thing we see when we get home, it’s the first line of defense in protecting what is, for most of us, a major investment. After 30+ years painting exteriors, we have the expertise to properly prep and paint all types of exterior substrates.
What don’t we do? Here is a list of just a few of the exterior painting we do:
With an emphasis on quality team training, thorough site walkthroughs and systems to identify any potential safety hazards, you can rest easy and let the professionals transform the exterior of your home. Up to date insurance is included on every proposal and a fresh WCB clearance letter can be generated at your request!
North Vancouver runs from the redeveloped Lower Lonsdale waterfront and dense Central Lonsdale up through post-war neighbourhoods like Delbrook and Edgemont to mountainside streets climbing toward Grouse and Seymour, and we paint exteriors across the whole range. That includes newer subdivision builds with Hardie board and vinyl siding, older post-war bungalows, and forested view lots near Deep Cove and Blueridge.
Looking for something else in North Vancouver? We also handle interior painting and cabinet painting and refinishing across the city.
North Vancouver sits right against the North Shore mountains, and rainfall increases the higher up the slope a property sits. Homes on north-facing mountainside lots under heavy tree cover in Lynn Valley and Seymour stay shaded and damp longer between storms, while properties near the water in Deep Cove and along Indian Arm deal with salt-laden air that works harder on exterior coatings.
Newer subdivision builds on Hardie board and vinyl siding around Edgemont and Pemberton Heights often carry a thinner builder-grade paint job that starts showing wear sooner than expected, so we treat that as a first exterior repaint rather than a touch-up. We hold our exterior season to May through early October and won’t coat anything unless overnight temperatures stay above 2°C, checking moisture levels carefully on shaded, tree-covered lots before starting.
– Homes on shaded, north-facing mountainside lots in Lynn Valley and Seymour take longer to dry between coats than sunnier properties closer to the water.
– Newer subdivision homes near Edgemont and Pemberton Heights sometimes need their original builder-grade paint fully stripped or heavily sanded before a proper repaint will hold.
– Properties near Deep Cove and Indian Arm face salt-laden air that can wear coatings faster, so we check trim and fascia more closely on waterfront lots.
– Steep, view-oriented lots climbing toward Grouse and Seymour often need extra ladder and access setup time compared to flatter streets in Central Lonsdale.
Cost depends on your home’s size, siding, and how much prep or repair is needed. Older post-war siding in Delbrook and Edgemont often needs more scraping, priming and caulking than newer construction near Pemberton Heights, and shaded Lynn Valley lots can add drying time between coats. The fair answer is a free on-site estimate: one fixed price that includes labour, materials and tax, valid for 30 days.
May through early October is our exterior season, and we won’t apply a coating unless overnight temperatures stay above 2°C. North Vancouver’s rain increases the higher up the slope a property sits, so mountainside homes near Seymour and Lynn Valley often need a longer weather buffer than lower Lonsdale-area properties.
Yes. Hardie board and vinyl siding are common on newer builds around Edgemont and Pemberton Heights, and we also work on the cedar siding and heavy tree cover typical of mountainside homes toward Grouse and Seymour. Salt-laden air near Deep Cove and Indian Arm gets extra attention on trim and fascia.

Yes. New-construction touch-ups and full repaints on newer Hardie board and vinyl-sided subdivisions are common requests, especially around Edgemont and Pemberton Heights where builder-grade paint can wear faster than expected. We’ll assess whether a spot touch-up or a full exterior repaint makes more sense for your home.
Yes. The same crews cover the neighbouring communities, with the same free 30-day quote: West Vancouver, Vancouver and Burnaby. Each of those pages covers the local neighbourhoods and the questions homeowners there ask most.
